DIY Decorative Ribbon

All the decor and photo styling goals just swap out the high price-tag for more time spent.

What you’ll need

Fabric: chiffon or silk in white (get whatever’s cheapest) I like this one

Dye: use a food coloring you have on handy or see below for a full list

Wooden Spools: not a necessity I just think they’re hella cute

What you’ll need to do

  1. Boil a mix of 3 parts water and 1 part white vinegar

  2. Add dye and stir to dissolve

  3. Submerge fabric under water 10-30 minutes depending on desired color

  4. Rinse fabric and hang to dry

  5. Once dry cut fabric into desired length (shown is approx. 1 inch thick strips)

  6. Wrap around spools to store or style as needed
